A "blog" is short for "weblog" (web log). Blogs are a type of website that resembles an online journal, with regular blog entries or posts. Blogs have become popular in allowing just about anyone publish content to the web for relatively cheap. Some blogs focus on art, science, or politics, while others are simply personal blogs. Most weblogs discuss news events in their respective categories.
